Soap, coffee and the minibar: where did the stock go?
Supplies used by each cleaning and a minibar that is charged on time.
The situation
A hotel keeps toiletries and minibar items in a store room per property. Stock runs out on a Saturday, and minibar items taken by a guest are not always charged.
Without a shared system
- Stock is counted when something is already missing.
- The housekeeper writes minibar use on a slip that is lost before it reaches the desk.
With Kleenee
- Each supply has a quantity per cleaning. Handing in a cleaning takes it out of the property's stock, once.
- The manager restocks, counts and writes off, and every movement is kept, never edited.
- The housekeeper records the minibar on the cleaning. The front desk sees open charges per room and marks them charged.
What you get
The stock level is always known, and the minibar is charged to the right stay. No guest names are kept.
