Terms of service
Effective 15 October 2026
These terms govern the use of Kleenee. The service is provided by Kleenee (“we”, “us”). When you open an account or buy a plan, you accept these terms on behalf of the organisation you work for (“you”).
The service
Kleenee is software for running cleaning, room inspections, maintenance and related work in hotels and apartments, used over the internet (software as a service).
The service is meant for companies, sole traders and other accommodation providers. By accepting these terms you confirm that you use it in the course of your business.
Accounts and users
The person who creates an organisation becomes its owner. The owner and managers invite users and give them roles. You are responsible for what your organisation’s users do and for making sure only people you have authorised have access.
Sign-in links, invitations, contractor links and owner reports are confidential. Do not share them with people they are not meant for; a link that reached the wrong hands can be revoked or replaced.
Free trial
A new organisation uses every Ultimate feature free for 14 days, without entering a card. The trial never turns into a paid subscription by itself.
If you don’t choose a plan when the trial ends, access to the organization is locked: no user can see or change the data until you choose a plan. At your request we can extend the trial. We keep the data for another 90 days and then delete it.
Plans, prices and payment
Plans (Starter, Pro, Ultimate) differ in the features they include; each has unlimited users. The price is charged per room or apartment (“unit”) per month, with a minimum of €10 per month per plan. Current prices and plan contents are published on kleenee.com, in euros and excluding VAT.
Enterprise is agreed separately. Features we build for a single customer, their price, timelines and rights in them are set out in that agreement; unless it says otherwise, the software remains ours and the customer uses it as part of the subscription.
Subscriptions are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
Orders and payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle charges you, issues the invoice and handles tax where due; Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to the payment itself.
You pay for the number of units you run in Kleenee. When you add units or move to a larger plan, the difference is charged pro rata for the rest of the period; fewer units and a smaller plan take effect from the next period. Features the smaller plan does not include then stop being available, and their data is kept.
We announce price changes by email at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from the first renewal after that.
Cancellation and termination
You can cancel at any time, in the app or by email. The service keeps working until the end of the paid period, after which the same applies as at the end of a trial. Refunds are covered by our Refund policy.
We may end the agreement with 30 days’ notice. We may suspend access at once if the service is abused or puts other customers at risk, or if an amount due remains unpaid after a reminder.
Your data
The data you enter (properties, units, tasks, checklists, photos, notes) belongs to you. We use it only to provide the service to you and never sell it.
For your staff’s personal data you are the controller and we are the processor. We process it only on your instructions, through the features of the service, and on the terms in our Privacy policy, which also serves as our data processing agreement.
Kleenee is not meant for storing guest data. Do not enter guests’ names, contact details or documents in notes and descriptions.
On request, you will receive an export of your data before your account is deleted.
Acceptable use
You may not disrupt the service, try to access other customers’ data or parts of the system not meant for you, use the service for unlawful purposes, upload malicious content or resell the service without our written permission.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running and take regular backups, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance happens when the service is least used.
We keep developing the service and may change its features. If a change would materially reduce what you paid for, we will announce it in advance and let you cancel with a pro rata refund.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damage, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
Changes to these terms
We notify account owners of material changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If you disagree, you can cancel before the changes take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. We will try to settle any dispute by agreement; failing that, the competent court in Belgrade has jurisdiction.
